Abstract
U ovom završnom radu analizira se višeprotokolno komutiranje temeljeno na oznakama -MPLS (engl. Multiprotocol Label Switching) na Mikrotik opremi, a za konačan cilj teži se konfiguraciji i projeri komunikacije MPLS mreže koja je utemeljena na trećem sloju OSI modela. MPLS tehnologija predstavlja efikasnije i brže usmjeravanje u mrežama. MPLS svojim postupkom odnosno tehnikom zamjena labela (engl. label swapping) prilikom prijenosa paketa kroz mrežu analizira zaglavlja paketa jednom, za razliku od tradicionalnog kod kojeg se analiza provodi pri svakom koraku od usmjerivača do usmjerivača. Potrebno je kraće vrijeme procesuiranja informacija u usmjerivačima s time da usmjerivači moraju razumjeti MPLS. Takvi usmjerivači se nazivaju LSR-ovi koji funkcioniraju na način da obavljaju pregled i zamjenu stare oznake, koja je dodijeljena na samom ulazu u mrežu, novom. Na samom izlazu iz mreže se nalaze rubni usmjerivači poznati kao LER-ovi koji skidaju oznaku s paketa.
Abstract (english)
This final paper analyzes the Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) on Mikrotik equipment, and ultimately aims at configuring and testing communication of the MPLS network based on the third layer of the OSI model. MPLS technology is more efficient and faster routing in networks. MPLS uses the label swapping method to analyze packet headers once, as opposed to the traditional code, where every step from router to router is analyzed. It takes shorter time to process information in routers with the routers having to understand MPLS. Such routers are called LSRs that function to inspect and replace the old tag, which was assigned at the very entrance to the network, with a new one. At the outlet of the network are edge routers known as LERs that remove the tag from the packet.
