Abstract	Platni sustav predstavlja vrlo važan dio cjelokupnog gospodarskog sustava a osnovna funkcija platnog sustava je da se omogući sigurno i učinkovito korištenje novca kao sredstva plaćanja te izvršavanje bezgotovinskih plaćanja, tj. transfer novčanih sredstava od platitelja do primatelja. Sigurno i učinkovito funkcioniranje platnog prometa je vrlo važno i za centralnu banku, tj. instituciju koja je odgovorna za funkcioniranje platnog prometa u državi kao i za kompletan financijski sustav i sudionike u financijskom sustavu. U Republici Hrvatskoj platni promet se odvija preko Hrvatskog sustava velikih plaćanja, Nacionalnog klirinškog sustava, sustava TARGET2 i sustava EuroNKS.
Abstract (english)	The payment system is a very important part of the overall economic system and the basic function of the payment system is to enable the safe and efficient use of money as a means of payment and to make non-cash payments, ie the transfer of funds from payer to payee. The safe and efficient functioning of the payment system is very important for the central bank, that is, the institution responsible for the payment system functioning in the country, as well as for the entire financial system and participants in the financial system. In the Republic of Croatia, payment operations are carried out through the Croatian Large Payment System, the National Clearing System, the TARGET2 system and the EuroNKS system.
