Abstract
Lucerna je višegodišnja mahunarka i najzastupljenija krmna kultura na oranicama. Veoma je cijenjena kultura zbog različitih načina korištenja (zelena masa, sijeno, silaža,briketi,brašno). Ishrana stoke je skoro nezamisliva bez lucerne budući da posjeduje visoku količinu bjelančevina. Trave koje se najčešće siju u kombinaciji sa lucernom su: višegodišnji ljulj, klupčasta oštrica i prerijske trave. Lucerna dobro podnosi sušu i nepovoljne uvjete uz smanjenje prinosa i kvalitete prinosa. Prosječan prinos lucerne je 40 do 60 t/ha zelene mase i 10 do 12 t/ha sijena.
Abstract (english)
Alfalfa is a perennial legume and most common forage crop on arable land. It is very appreciated because of their different uses (green mass, hay, silage, briquettes, flour). Feeding cattle is almost unthinkable without alfalfa since it has a high amount of protein. Grasses that are usually sown in combination with alfalfa are: perennial ryegrass, cocksfoot and prairie grass. Alfalfa tolerates drought and adverse conditions with a reduced yield and quality yield. The average yield of alfalfa is 40-60 t / ha of green mass and 10-12 t / ha of hay.
