Abstract	U ovom radu su opisane morfološke karakteristike biljke Ginkgo bilobe L., kao i uzgoj i razmnožavanje, važni faktori za rast, učinkovitost uzgoja, mogućnost komercijalne iskoristivosti te plantažni uzgoj i značaj ginka kao lijeka. Zbog svoje dobre prilagodljivosti i otpornosti, uzgoj je ostvariv na gotovo svim lokalitetima. Ginko ima široku uporabu u liječenju raznih bolesti pa je i svjetski iskoristiv.
Abstract (english)	In this paper are described morphological characteristics of Ginkgo biloba L. as well as raising and breeding, important factors for growth, efficiency of cultivation, opportunities of usability, plantation cultivation and function as a cure. Because of good adaptibility and resistance, cultivation is achievable on almost all locations. Ginkgo has wide usage in treatmant many desases so it is worldwide usable.
