Abstract	Crnu slavonsku svinju svrstavamo u skupinu masno-mesnatih pasmina. Pogodna je i za ekološku proizvodnju zbog dobre pigmentacije kože i izražene otpornosti na vanjske uvjete držanja i dobrog iskorištavanja voluminoznih krmiva, naročito paše. Otvoreni sustav držanja svinja omogućuje svim kategorijama svinja mogućnost slobodnog kretanja. Na taj način svinjama su omogućeni puno ugodniji uvjeti smještaja, mikroklime, socijalnog kontakta, razmnožavanja, uzgoja pomlatka i ishrane u odnosu na intenzivnu svinjogojsku proizvodnju.
Abstract (english)	Black Slavonian and Turopolje pig classified into the category of fatty-meaty breeds. It is also suitable for organic production due to good skin pigmentation and expressed resistance to external conditions and keeping good utilization forage, especially grazing. Outdoor pig production allows all categories of pigs possibility of free movement. In this way pigs are given the opportunity of much more comfortable accommodation conditions, microclimate, social contact, reproduction, rearing newgrowth and diet in relation to intensive pig production.
