Abstract	Postoje mnogi štetnici i bolesti koji napadaju duhan. Jedan od najznačajnijih štetnika u zadnjih pet godina na duhanu je duhanov buhač (Epitrix hirtipennis Melsheimer). Uz duhanov buhač često se javljaju i lisne uši te stjenice koje povremeno prave štetu na duhanu, dok je od bolesti najznačajniji virus mozaika duhana. Cilj rada bio je pratiti pojavu bolesti i štetnika od rasada do berbe duhana. Istraživanje je provedeno 2017. godine u Turnašici na obiteljskom poljoprivrednom gospodarstvu Lach. Vizualno je pregledano 100 biljaka po parceli prije i poslije svakog tretiranja. Utvrđena je pojava duhanovog buhača i lisnih uši. Prvo tretiranje protiv buhača obavljeno je sredstvom na bazi deltametrina i broj buhača je smanjen za 50%. Drugo tretiranje obavljeno je sredstvom na bazi imidakloprida, a broj buhača smanjen je za 90%. Nakon pojave lisnih uši prvo tretiranje je obavljeno sredstvom na bazi imidakloprida, te se broj lisnih uši smanjio za 40%, a nakon drugog tretiranja sredstvom na bazi tiametoksama, koje je ujedno suzbilo i stjenice, a broj lisnih uši smanjio se za 80%. Vrlo važno je pratiti prvu pojavu štetnika i bolesti kako bi se pravovremeno mogle odrediti mjere zaštite i suzbijanja, te ih svesti na minimum.
Abstract (english)	There are many pests and diseases that attack tobacco. One of the most important pests in the last five years is flea beetle (Epitrix hirtipennis Melsheimer). Along with the flea beetle, there are many aphids and heteroptera species which occasionally caused damage on tobacco, while the most significant virus is the mosaic virus of tobacco. The aim of this research is to see the appearance of diseases and pests from seedling time to the tobacco harvesting time. The research was conducted in 2017 in Turnašica on the family farm Lach. Plants monitored visually: 100 plants per plot before and after each treatment. Two pests found on the tobacco plants: flea beetle and aphids. The first treatment against the flea beetle was with a deltamethrine and number of flea beetle was lower for 50%. The second treatment was with an imidacloprid and the number of flea beetle was 90% lower. After the appearance of the aphids, the first treatment was with imidacloprid and number of aphids was 40% lower, and after the second treatment with a thiamethox, which at the same time suppressed also heteroptera species, the number of aphids was 80% lower. It is very important to monitor the appearance of pests and diseases in order to minimize damage and provide timely protection and suppression measures.
