Abstract	Cilj istraživanja bio je prikazati dostupne online aplikacije za sastavljanje obroka i smjesa, te uštede u hranidbi domaćih životinja primjenom matematičkog programiranja. Dati kritički osvrt na prednosti računalnog sastavljanja smjesa i obroka u odnosu na klasičnu „ručnu“ metodu. Imajući u vidu sve ukupne potrebe, obrok se sastavlja kombinacijom odabranih krmiva koja su najpogodnija za hranjenje određene vrste i kategorije životinja. Pored toga primarni cilj je da obrok bude i najniže moguće cijene. Pri ručnom sastavljanju, svakako je moguće sastaviti kvalitetnu smjesu ili obrok, ali je praktično nemoguće pri tome napraviti i najjeftiniju smjesu, odnosno obrok. Glavna prednost računalnog sastavljanja smjesa i obroka u odnosu na klasičnu „ručnu“ metodu je ta što program sastavlja smjese i obroke na bazi definiranih nutritivnih ograničenje po najnižoj mogućoj cijeni za nekoliko sekundi, a da pri tome zadovoljava sve potrebe životinja. Korištenje računalnih aplikacija za izradu smjesa svojstveno je većim, specijaliziranim gospodarstvima. Mala gospodarstva često nisu niti svjesna postojećih rješenja, a ako i jesu, ne mogu si ih priuštiti. Ovakvi računalni alati mogli bi povećati djelotvornost na malim gospodarstvima te pomoći zemljama u razvoju da smanje troškove povezane s hranom, a da istodobno povećaju kvalitetu proizvodnje.
Abstract (english)	The aim of the research was to present available online applications for the preparation of meals and mixtures and, accordingly, possible savings in feeding domestic animals. There is a critical review of the benefits of computing mixtures and meals in comparison to the classic "manual" method. Taking into account all nutritional needs, the meal is made up of a combination of selected fodder which is best suited for feeding particular species and categories of animals. In addition, the primary objective is to provide the lowest possible price. When hand-assembled, it is certainly possible to make a good quality mixture or meal, but it is practically impossible to make the cheapest mix or meal. The main advantage of computer compilation of mixtures and meals in comparison to the classic "manual" method is that the program compiles mixtures and meals based on defined nutritional constraints at the lowest possible price in a few seconds. The use of computing applications for blending is more specific to larger, specialized economies. Small businesses are often unaware of existing solutions, and if they do, they can not afford it. Such computer tools could increase efficiency in small economies and help developing countries reduce food-related costs while simultaneously increasing production quality.
