Abstract
Ovaj rad obrađuje ugovor o pomorskoj agenciji, pravni sporazum između nalogodavca i agenta čijim sklapanjem proizlaze određena prava i obveze za navedene stranke. Postoje organizacije koje čine institucionalni okvir za rad pomorskih agenata i reguliranje pomorskih agencija. Bez konstantnog unaprjeđivanja ugovora o pomorskim agencijama rad između nalogodavca, pomorskih agenata i svih ostalih sudionika pomorsko-trgovačkog poslovanja bio bi znatno otežan. Ciljevi ovog rada su sljedeći: objasniti temeljna obilježja pomorsko-agencijskog poslovanja kroz povijesni pregled i podjelu pomorskih agenata, navesti udruženja pomorskih agenata koja djeluju na međunarodnoj, europskoj razini te na razini Hrvatske i na kraju objasniti ugovor o pomorskoj agenciji s posebnim naglaskom na novi ugovor o pomorskoj agenciji donesen od strane BIMCO-a i FONASBA-e.
Abstract (english)
This study elaborates on Agency Appointment Agreement, a legal agreement between the principal and the agent whose conclusion results in certain rights and obligations of the said parties. There are organizations that make up an institutional framework for the work of maritime agents and the regulation of maritime agencies. Without constant improvement of the Agency Appointment Agreement, the work between shipping and agents and all other participants in the maritime-trading business would be considerably difficult. The objectives of this study are the following: explain the fundamental characteristics of maritime-agency management through historical review and types of agents, to list the associations of ship brokers operating at the international, European and Croatian level as well and finally to explain the Agency Appointment Agreement with special emphasis on the new Agency Appointment Agreement enacted by BIMCO and FONASBA.
