Abstract	Cilj ovog rada bio je provjeriti klijavost sjemena vrste Hypericum olympicum L. u laboratorijskim uvjetima. Sjeme je sakupljeno je u jesen 2008. i 2009. godine, a testiranje je provedeno kroz tri različita pokusa: u uvjetima bez tretmana, uz dodatak giberelinske kiseline koja je promotor klijavosti i uz predtretman pothlađivanja (stratifikacije). Sjeme sabrano tijekom 2008. godine pokazalo je bolju klijavost u odnosu na sjeme sabrano 2009. godine, čime je potvrđena dormantnost tek ubranog sjemena i dobra klijavost godinu dana starog sjemena, utvrđena i za vrstu H. perforatum var. angustifolium. Također, ovim je istraživanjem utvrđeno da tip dormantnosti sjemenki vrste H. olympicum nije dugotrajna fiziološka dormantnost, nego da sjeme prolazi kroz fazu morfofiziološke dormancije budući je uočen signifikantan pozitivni utjecaj giberelinke kiselina kao promotora klijavosti. Iz dobivenih se rezultata može zaključiti da stratifikacija nema utjecaja na na prekid dormantnosti i klijanje sjemena vrste H. Olympicum L.
Abstract (english)	The aim of this thesis was to investigate seed germination of Hypericum olympicum L. in laboratory conditions. The seeds were gathered in autumn of 2008. and 2009., and the testing was done in three different experiments: in conditions without any treatment, in conditions where gibberelic acid was added as a seed promotor and in conditions of seed stratification. The seeds from 2008. showed better germination than the seeds gathered in 2009., which showed the dormancy of seeds that where gathered later and good seed germination of one year old seeds, traits that were confirmed also for H. perforatum var. angustifolium. The experiments also showed that the type of dormancy of H. olympicum seeds is not a longlasting physiological dormancy, but that the seeds go through the phase of morphophysiological dormancy, the fact that was confirmed from the significantly positive influence of gibberlic acid as a promotor of seed germination. From the results of the experiments it can be concluded that stratification has no influence on termination of dormancy, as well as on germination of seed of H. olympicum.
