Abstract
Požeški crveni graniti visokofrakcionirani su peraluminozni graniti tipa A2 tj. odgovaraju postkolizijskim granitima u ekstenzijskim uvjetima. Visokotemperaturna suha magma (T~900°C) dominantno je derivirana iz materijala kore uz manji udio plašta. Potječe s dubina od barem 40 km, a uvjeti smještaja granitne intruzije iznose oko 5,2 kbar i 615°C (dubina ~20 km). Smješteni su unutar Sava-zone koja markira kolizijski šav između Europe i Adrije pod kraj krede te oznaĉavaju prelazak iz kompresijskih uvjeta u ekstenzijske na europskom rubu.
Abstract (english)
Red granite from Požeška Gora Mt. is described as a peralominous A2-type postcollisional granite that was formed under extensional conditions. Characteristic features of this hightemperature dry magma (T~900°C) are pointing to dominantly crustal origin with minor involvement of mantle. Magma chamber was originally situated at depth of at least 40 km, but emplacement contions of intrusion are equal 5,2 kbar and 615°C (which equals to ~20 km depth). Intrusion was situated along Sava zone, a suture that marks the collision between Europe and Adria at the end of Cretaceous. This red granite is therefore marking the transition from compression to extension on the European margin.
