Abstract
Na početku rada su najprije predočene geografske značajnosti općine Gornja Radgona. Poslije toga opisan je historijsko-gospodarski razvoj naselja od prapovijesna doba pa sve do vremena kada su bila gradu priznata trgovačka prava; predstavljena su povezanost gradova na lijevoj i desnoj obali rijeke Mure i kasnije razvoj grada u privredno središte općine. Značajan ulog u razvoju i prepoznatljivosti općine predstavljaju poduzeća, isto tako svakoljetni poljoprivredno-prehrambeni sajam sa pratećim djelatnostima i ostali sajmovi s kojima su grad Gornja Radgona i cijelo područje pridobili veliki ugled na širem europskom području.
Abstract (english)
In the beginning are first presented geographic features above Radgona county. After that describes the historic - economic development. From its beginnings when there was just the settlement under Radgona castle until the time when the city become important with all marketing rights. There is presented connection of the left and right banks of the river Mura and the subsequent development of the city into the economic center of the community. A significant part in the development and visibility of the municipality consists of the companies, as well as annual agri-food trade fair with accompanying activities and other fairs. City Gornja Radgona and the entire area acquired with that fairs a great reputation in the wider Europe.
