Abstract
Republika Makedonija, državu u “osrčju“ Jugoistočne Europe, od samog nastanka izdvajanjem iz komunističke Jugoslavije 1991. godine bori se s brojnim ekonomskim, političkim i političkogeografskim problemima i izazovima. I dok su ekonomski i politički problemi karakteristični za većinu zemalja u tranziciji, određeni političkogeografski problemi specifični su upravo za Makedoniju. Ti specifični problemi mogu se podijeliti na tri glavne cjeline: problemi vezani uz makedonsko pitanje, problemi međuetničkih odnosa između Makedonaca i Albanaca unutar same Makedonije te problemi nastali uslijed izbijanja izbjegličke krize na Bliskom Istoku. Rad se bavi opisivanjem spomenutih problema, objašnjavanjem njihovih uzroka te posljedica koje ti problemi ostavljaju ili bi mogli ostaviti na unutarnju i vanjsku stabilnost Republike Makedonije, ali i na stabilnost čitave Jugoistočne Europe.
Abstract (english)
: The Republic of Macedonia, the state in „heartland“ of Southeastern Europe, since of very beginning, after the separation from the communist Yugoslavia 1991. has its numerous economic, politic and geopolitic problems and challenges. And while economic and politic problems are typical for most of the countries in transition, specific geopolitical problems are specific for the Republic of Macedonia. Those specific problems can be divided into three main ensembles: problems related with Macedonian question, problems of interethnic relations between Macedonians and Albanians within Macedonia and problems resulting during the outbreak of the refugee crisis in the Middle East. This thesis studies mentioned problems, explains their causes and consequences which those problems are leaving or could leave at internal and external stability of The Republic of Macedonia, but also at stability of whole Southeastern Europe.
