Abstract
Do sada je u hrvatskom dijelu Istre zabilježeno 17 vrsta šišmiša, sa slabim poznavanjem porodiljnih i zimskih skloništa. Međutim najjužniji dio Istre je naročito slabo istraživan i o šišmišima koji u njemu obitavaju te njihovim zimskim skloništima i porodiljnim kolonijama gotovo da i ne postoje podaci. Istraživanje šišmiša na južnom dijelu Istre obavljeno je tijekom 2012. i 2013. godine. Za dobivanje pregleda vrsta šišmiša koji obitavaju na navedenom području korištene su metode: lov mrežama kod otvora skloništa i nad lokvama, utvrđivanja vrsta pomoću bat-detektora te vizualna opservacija u skloništima. Utvrđivanje vrsta vršeno je na lokacijama na kojima se očekivala njihova prisutnost: nad lokvama, u špiljama, u napuštenim vojnim objektima, rudnicima i drugim značajnim staništima. Ovim radom potvrđeno je ukupno 12 vrsta šišmiša, u čemu poseban značaj ima pronalazak porodiljne kolonije pet vrsta, koje su sve na Dodatku II Direktive o staništima, u napuštenom vojnom objektu na Gornjem Kamnjaku kao i nalaz zimske kolonije vrste veliki potkovnjak Rhinolophus ferrumequinum u napuštenom rudniku kvarca.
Abstract (english)
Until now in the Croatian part of Istria, there is 17 known species of bats with the poor knowledge about maternity and winter roosts. However, the southest part of Istria has been never explored. Research of this subject has been conducted during 2012 and 2013. To gain insight into bat species which reside in stated area, several methods have been used: net hunting at roots entrances and near the pools, visual observations at roosts and species identification using bat-detector at water bodies, caves, abandoned military objects, mines and other significant habitats. During this survey, a total of the 12 bat species have been found. Of special significance is finding of multispecies maternity roos with the five species, all on the List of Addenda II of Habitats Directive in an abandoned military object near settlement Premantura in area of Gornji Kamenjak, and the finding of Rhinolophus ferrumequinum winter roost in an abandoned quartz mine near Loborika.
