Abstract
U radu su ukratko definirani turističko-geografski čimbenici i prikaz turističkog razvoja Grada Zagreba koji su velikim dijelom utjecali na stvaranje današnje turističke ponude Grada. Turistička ponuda u prostornoj strukturi Zagreba prikazana je pomoću analize turističke atrakcijske osnove, komunikacijskih faktora, smještajne i ugostiteljske ponude te putničkih agencija. Na temelju rezultata analize određene su glavne zone turističkih atrakcija i smjerovi turističkih kretanja u Gradu te analiziran turizam kao čimbenik preobrazbe prostorno-funkcionalne, fizionomske i ekonomske strukture. Napravljena je kratka usporedba zagrebačkog turizma s turizmom konkurentskih europskih gradova i iznesena su predviđanja o mogućnostima daljnjeg razvoja turizma u Gradu Zagrebu.
Abstract (english)
The thesis briefly defines tourist-geographical factors and displays touristic development of the City of Zagreb, which largely influenced on the creation of Zagreb’s present tourism offer. Tourism offer in the structure of Zagreb is shown by the analysis of tourism attraction base, communication factors, travel agencies, accommodation and catering services. Based on the results of the analysis, main areas of tourist attractions and directions of tourist movements in the City are defined. Also, the tourism is analyzed as a factor in the transformation of spatial, functional, physiognomic and economic structures. A brief comparison of Zagreb’s tourism with tourism competitive European cities is made and predictions about the possibilities of further development of tourism in the City of Zagreb are presented.
