Abstract
Razmatra se geopolitičko pozicioniranje novih gospodarstava u nastajanju: Brazila, Rusije, Indije i Kine. Obrađuje se njihov regionalni i globalni utjecaj te ekonomske projekcije sve do 2050. godine. Poseban naglasak je na njihovim međusobnim razlikama i sličnostima te ekonomskom i političkom dosegu grupe zemalja pod imenom BRIK. U ovom radu obrađene su sve faze njihovog djelovanja od prvog summita 2008. godine u Ekaterinburgu u Rusiji do proširivanja na novu članicu Južnoafričku Republiku, čime se grupa BRIK strateški širi i na afrički kontinent. Analizira se i prvo pojavljivanje termina BRIK 2001. godine koji je skovan u jednoj investicijskoj banci u SAD-u.
Abstract (english)
This graduation thesis shows geopolitical positioning new emerging economies: Brazil, Russia, China and India and their regional and global impact on world geopolitics all until 2050. Differences and similarities are described and their final impact on global geopolitical relations are analyzed. From the first mentioning of the BRIC name in 2001, until their first summit in Ekaterineburg, Russia in 2008 BRIC group of emerging countries are spreading their influence in international system. Accepting Republic of South Africa BRIC became BRICS gaining bigger influence in African continent.
