Abstract
U ovom radu izložen je kratki pregled primjene gline u izgradnji odlagališta otpada. S obzirom na kontinuirani porast broja stanovnika na svijetu povećava se i potreba za sve većim brojem uređenih odlagališta. Glina kao prirodni, ekološki prihvatljiv materijal koji je lako dostupan, koristi se za stvaranje barijere koja onemogućuje procjednim vodama da zagađuju podzemne vode koje je važno zaštiti jer time ne samo da uništavamo zalihe pitke vode već se uništavaju i cijeli ekosustavi.
Abstract (english)
This paper presents a brief overview of using clay in the construction of landfills. Given the continuous rise in world population increases, the need for regulated landfills is becoming bigger. Clay as a natural, environmentally friendly material that is easily accessible and is used to create a barrier that prevents the leaching water to contaminate underground water that is important to protect as this not only to destroy supplies of drinking water but also the entire ecosystems.
