Abstract
Svi europski šišmiši su više ili manje ugroženi, a pojedine vrste u nekim zemljama su već izumrle. U Hrvatskoj Zakonom o zaštiti prirode sve vrste šišmiša su kategorizirane posebno zaštićenim vrstama, te će ovo istraživanje pridonijeti boljem poznavanju njihove biologije i zaštiti. Tijekom ljeta 2012. godine provedeno je terensko istraživanje metodom transekta pomoću bat-detektora na dva različita staništa u Zagrebu - poluprirodno stanište Jarun i urbanizirani centar grada. Ukupno je identificirano 11 vrsta šišmiša. Nakon identifikacije vrsta, ciljevi su bili usmjereni na uspoređivanje aktivnosti šišmiša na Jarunu i u centru grada, utvrđivanje aktivnosti pojedinih vrsta ovisno o periodu istraživanja te utvrđivanje aktivnosti pojedinih vrsta ovisno o tipu staništa. Istraženo je 2741 zvučnih signala šišmiša na području Jaruna i 1086 zvučnih signala u centru Zagreba. Na Jarunu je zabilježeno ukupno 9 vrsta s ukupnom gustoćom od 148 jedinki šišmiša/km, a u centru grada 6 vrsta šišmiša s gustoćom od 36 jedinki/km.
Abstract (english)
All European bats are more or less endangered, and in some countries certain species have already gone extinct. In Croatia, by the Nature Protection Act all bat species are protected and this research will contribute to even more protection and understanding of their biology. During the summer of 2012 a field study has been conducted in which a transect sampling method has been used by bat detectors. The study was conducted in two different habitation in Zagreb and those were semi-natural habitation Jarun and urbanized city center. A total of 11 bat species has been identified and after the identification, bat activity comparison between Jarun and the center, bat activity of certain species during different periods of the study and bat activity of certain species depending on different habitation type have become our goals. A total of 2741 bat sound signals in Jarun and 1086 in the center of Zagreb has been collected and studied. There have been 9 different species found in Jarun with a density of 148 bats per one km and 6 different species in the center with a density of 36 bats per one km.
