Abstract
Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je ispitati povezanost između pojedinih dimenzija samopoimanja (samopoštovanje, emocionalna stabilnost, odnosi s vršnjacima istog i suprotnog spola) i konzumacije droga kod adolescenata. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 205 učenika/ca dviju gimnazija; Gimnazija Pula i Gimnazija Antuna Vrančića Šibenik. Rezultati su pokazali da postoji negativna povezanost između samopoštovanja i konzumacije droga kod adolescenata. Isto tako, rezultati su pokazali kako ne postoji povezanost između emocionalne stabilnosti i konzumacije droga kod adolescenata. Ovim istraživanjem je dobivena niska pozitivna povezanost između konzumacije droga i samopoimanja odnosa s vršnjacima suprotnog spola, no nije pronađena povezanost između konzumacije droga i samopoimanja odnosa s vršnjacima istog spola. Dobiveni rezultati razmatrani su u kontekstu dosadašnjih spoznaja i specifičnosti ispitivane populacije.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this study was to investigate the association between certain dimensions of self (self-esteem, emotional stability, relations with peers of the same and opposite sex) and drug use among adolescents. The study included 205 students of two high schools; Gymnasium Pula and Gymnasium Antun Vrancic Sibenik. The results showed that there is a negative correlation between self-esteem and drug use among adolescents. Also, results showed that there was no association between emotional stability and drug use among adolescents. This research has produced a low positive correlation between drug use and dimension of self- relationships with peers of the opposite sex, but not found a correlation between drug use and dimension of self- relationships with peers of the same sex. The results are discussed in the context of current knowledge and the specifics of the study population.
