Abstract
U ovom radu teoretski su objašnjeni princip rada i izvedbe asinkronih motora. Navedena su njihova svojstva, dijelovi i uloga. Posebno su razrađene dvije osnovne izvedbe s obzirom na vrstu rotora: kolutni i kavezni motori, njihove prednosti i nedostaci. Definirani su pojmovi vezani za njihov rad kao što su okretno magnetsko polje, sinkrona brzina i klizanje. Prikazani su režimi rada i objašnjene karakteristika momenta i karakteristika struje, određene njihove ključne točke te analizirano stabilno područje rada. Posebno poglavlje je posvećeno problemu velike potezne struje, koji se javlja pri pokretanju asinkronih motora te su opisani načini kojima se ona može smanjiti.
Abstract (english)
This paper theoretically explains the principle of operation and performance of induction motors. It identifies their properties, parts and roles. In particular, it elaborates two basic designs referring to the type of rotor: wound type and squirrel cage type, their advantages and disadvantages. Terms related to their work, such as rotating magnetic field, synchronous speed and slip, are also defined. The operating modes, the torque - slip characteristic and the current - slip characteristic, certain of their key points and the analysis of a stable work area are presented. A special chapter is dedicated to the problem of large current that occurs when the induction motors are started and the methods by which it can be reduced.
