Abstract	U ovom radu prikazan je postupak toplinske obrade cementiranja strojnog dijeka KB-16.14, te mjerenje tvrdoće spomenutog strojnog dijela. Strojni dio KB-16.14 oblika čahure izrađen je od čelika oznake 16MnCrS5. Opisan je postupak cementiranja kao i postupak ispitivanja tvrdoće. Parametri postavljeni na početku obrade, kao što su tvrdoća i dubina cementiranog sloja, su se nakon izvedbe pokazali ispravnim. Rezultati mjerenja provedeni su na tvrdomjeru, Vickersovom metodom, nakon svake operacije. Cilj postupka je bio povećanje tvrdoć površinskog sloja, prema postavljenim zahtjevima, te je on i postignut. Navedeni postupak, kao i rezultati mjerenja tvrdoće popraćeni su slikama.
Abstract (english)	This paper describes the process of heat treating of case-carburizing machine part named KB- 16.14, and measuring the hardness of the mentioned machine part. Machine part KB-16.14 shell form is made of steel tags 16MnCrS5. The process of case-carburizing as well as the hardness test procedure are described. Parameters set at the beginning of process, such as hardness and layer hardness depth, are showed to be correct. The results of the mesurements were carried out with Vickers method, after each operaton. The goal of the process was to increase the hardness of the surface layer, acccording to requirements, and it was achieved. The procedure, as wass as the results of measurements of hardness are accompanied with pictures.
