Abstract
U ovom su radu opisani polimeri, njihova makromolekularna struktura i svojstva. Prikazano je nastajanje polimernih materijala dodavanjem raznih ojačala čistom polimeru kako bi mu se poboljšala svojstva. Načinjen je pregled postupaka prerade polimernih materijala (plastomera, elastomera i duromera) i nastaje polimernih tvorevina. Navedena je primjena polimernih materijala i kriteriji odabira u proizvodnji, te opisani su trendovi razvoja polimera i nastajanja inovacija (blendovi, nanokompoziti i polimerni kompoziti). Naposlijetku opisani su prednosti i nedostaci polimernih materijala s obzirom na ostale materijale.
Abstract (english)
In this paper polymer were analysed. Polymers, their macro molecular structure and properties were described in theory. The formation of polymeric materials has been demonstrated by adding a variety of reinforcers to the pure polymer to improve their properties. An overview of the processes of processing polymer materials (plastomers, elastomers and thermosets) and production of polymeric structures was made. The application of polymer materials and selection criteria in production has been described and the trends of polymer development and innovations (blends, nanocomposites and polymer composites) are described. Finally, the advantages and disadvantages of polymer materials are described with respect to other materials.
