Abstract
U ovome radu govoriti će se o električnim tramvajima, koji predstavljaju okosnicu javnog prijevoza u središtima velikih hrvatskih gradova, kao što su Zagreb i Osijek. U ovome radu dati će se definicija i sve temeljne informacije vezane za djelovanje električnih tramvaja.Također, provesti će se usporedba tramvaja kao oblika javnog prijevoza s drugim oblicima javnog prijevoza – trolejbusom, metroom i lakom gradskom željeznicom, a isto tako prikazati će se pozitivne i negativne strane električnog tramvaja. U sklopu ovoga rada prikazati će se neki od primjera modela električnih tramvaja koji se koriste u Republici Hrvatskoj i u svijetu.
Abstract (english)
This final work will discuss about electric trams, which represent the backbone of public transport in the centers of major Croatian cities, such as Zagreb and Osijek. This paper will provide a definition and all basic information regarding the operation of electric trams. Also, there will be a comparison of trams as a form of public transportation in relation to other means of public transport, such as the trolleybus, the metro and light city rail. Along with that both pros and cons of electric trams will be discussed. Within this final work, some of the examples of electric tram models used in the Republic of Croatia and in the world will be described.
