Abstract
Cementiranje je postupak toplinsko-kemijske obrade koji se sastoji od pougljičavanja površinskih slojeva, kaljenja te niskotemperaturnog popuštanja. Kako bi se mogao provesti postupak cementiranja važno je da se radi o nelegiranim ili niskolegiranim, niskougljičnim čelicima koji u svom sastavu imaju manje od 0,25%C. Držanjem na temperaturi austenitizacije dolazi do obogaćivanja rubnih slojeva ugljikom. Rubni slojevi budu visoke tvrdoće dok jezgra čelika otporna na dinamička i udarna opterećenja. Zbog toga se čelici za cementiranje primjenjuju kod zupčanika, bregastih osovina, tj. dijelova strojeva kod kojih se u radu traže navedena svojstva. U radu su detaljnije opisani toplinski postupci kao i mikrostrukture čelika u određenim fazama tijekom obrade. Uz to važno je i spomenuti načine ispitivanja tvrdoće kojima se provjerava tvrdoća i dubina cementiranog sloja, kao što je ispitivanje po Vickersu, Brinellu i Rockwellu.
Abstract (english)
Cementation of steel is a thermo chemical treatment process which consists of carburizing, case hardening and low temperature release. To be able to carry out process of cementation, it is needed to have steel which contains less than 0,25%C and it has to be unalloyed or low alloy carbon. Keeping at austenitization temperature, surface layer is enriched with carbon content. Surface layer is of high density while the core is resiliant to the dynamic and impact stress. Because of that cementation are used for gears, camshafts, i.e. for machine parts that when are running they have these properties. The thesis describes in detail heat treatments, and also steel microstructure at certain processing phases. In addition, it is very important to mention hardness test which examines hardness level and also depht of cemented layer, like Vickers, Brinell and Rockwell test.
