Abstract	Ovaj rad sadrži obrađivanje teme toplinske obrade poboljšavanja strojnog dijela KP.22-PT.41. Rad je podijeljen u dva dijela. Prvim dijelom opisujemo znanje o materijalu kao i promjene u njegovoj mikrostrukturi, toplinsku obradu pri pojašnjavanju pojedine vrste te opisujemo metode pomoću kojih ispitujemo tvrdoću materijala. Drugim dijelom opisujemo poboljšavanje čelika pomoću toplinske obrade.
Abstract (english)	This paper deals with the topic of heat treatment improvement of the machine part KP.22-PT.41. The paper is divided into two parts. The first part describes the knowledge of the material as well as changes in its microstructure, heat treatment in the elucidation of a particular type of material, and describes the methods by which we examine the hardness of the material. The second part describes the improvement of steel by heat treatment.
