Abstract
Moderna definicija osiguranja kvalitete temelji se na preventivnom djelovanju otklanjanja potencijalnih grešaka i poboljšavanja proizvoda i/ili procesa. U tom kontekstu provode se redovita mjerenja cjevovoda kako bi se utvrdilo njihovo stanje te na taj način izbjegle teže posljedice. Upravo kod slučaja cjevovodnih sustava nužno je redovito održavanje i praćenje bitnih parametara poput protoka, tlaka, stupnja korozije i dr. Kada bi se reagiralo tek nakon puknuća ili značajnijeg oštećenja cijevi rezultati bi bili veliki financijski troškovi, ali i moguća ugroženost ljudskih života. Temelj svakog uspješnog poslovanja je rad sa suficitom, odnosno što manjim troškovima, a najbolji način za to osigurati je preventivno djelovanje. U prijevodu troškovi utrošeni na mjerenja i ispitivanja u krajnjem slučaju donose dobit. Postoji više načina ispitivanja stanja cjevovoda, ali zasigurno jedan od najpristupačnijih i najraširenijih je ispitivanje ultrazvukom. Metoda ispitivanja ultrazvukom nerazorna je metoda koja traje vrlo kratko i relativno jednostavno se izvodi. Osim samog ultrazvučnog uređaja i maziva potrebna je i stručnost osobe koja izvodi ispitivanje. Ona mora biti obučena za rad s uređajem, ali i poznavati osnove fizike valova. Nakon odabira povoljne lokacije na samoj cijevi i pripreme površine počinje mjerenje koje traje svega nekoliko minuta. U tako kratkom roku dobivaju se informacije o debljini stjenke cijevi koje služe za daljnju analizu i zaključke. Na temelju izmjerenih podataka poduzimaju se koraci u rješavanju postojećeg problema ili poboljšavanja trenutnog stanja. Zaključak je kako metoda ispitivanja ultrazvukom iako vrlo jednostavna ima veliku ulogu kod ispitivanja cjevovodnih sustava, ali i u tehnici općenito.
Abstract (english)
Modern definition of quality insurance is based on preventive action of eliminating potential mistakes and emproving processes or/and products. In that context regular pipeline measurements are carried out to determine their condition and to avoid serious consequences. In this particular case it is necessary regular maintenance and monitoring of essential parameters such as flow, pressure, rate of corrosion et. If it would react only after brakeage or significant damage of pipes, the resukt would be major financial cost, but also a potental threat to human lives. The best way to ensure working with profit, which is the goal of every successful business, is preventive action. In other words, the costs spent on measurements and testing in the end bring profit. There are several ways to test the pipline system, but surley one of the most accessible and widespread is ultrasound testing. This is a non-destructive method that takes very short time and it is relatively simple to perform. Beside the ultrasound gauge itself and cuoplant it is necessary the expertise of the tester. It must know how device works but also has to be familiar with the basics of the wave physics. After selecting good location on the pipe itself and preparing the surface measurement begins which only takes few minutes. In such a short time, informations on the thickness of the tube are provided. They are used for further analysis and conclusion. Based on the measurement dana, the steps are taken to solve existing problem or to improve the current state. Conclusion is that ultrasound method, althought very simple, has a significant role in testing pipeline systems, but also in technique in general.
