Abstract
Endokrunica je bezmetalni jednodijelni nadomjestak koji nadomješta koronarni dio izgubljene krune i prostor pulpne komorice endodontski lijeĉenog zuba. Indikacije pri kojima se donosi odluka o izradi endokrunice jesu veliki gubitak tvrdog zubnog tkiva, sniţena kliniĉka kruna zuba, smanjen interokluzijski prostor, zavijeni korijenski kanali te brzo vrijeme izrade. Napredak tehnologije u dentalnoj medicini omogućuje jednoposjetnu izradu endokrunice upotrebom CAD/CAM sustava, dok konvencionalni naĉin izrade zahtijeva nekoliko posjeta. Materijal izbora je litij disilikatna staklokeramika koja pokazuje zadovoljavajuću estetiku i ĉvrstoću. Smanjenu retenciju zbog velikog gubitka tvrdog zubnog tkiva kod endokrunice nadomješta adhezivno cementiranje koje mikromehaniĉki i kemijski veţe zub za nadomjestak te ojaĉava cjelinu koju tvore.
Abstract (english)
The endocrown is a metal-free prosthetic replacement for the lost coronary part of the tooth. It anchors in the pulp chamber of endodontically treated tooth. The indications which lead to the decision for making the endocrown are: great loss of hard dental tissue, teeth with curved roots and fast endocrown production. The progress of dental technology allows the production of endocrowns in one visit with the CAD/CAM system, whereas the conventional process requires several visits. The material of choice is lithium disilicate ceramics which shows satisfactory aestethics and strength. The great loss of hard dental tissue decreases retention and it is substituted with adhesive cementation which micromechanically and chemically binds the tooth with the endocrown and strengthens the whole structure.
