Abstract	Parodontitis je bolest potpornih tkiva zuba. Svijest o liječenju parodontitisa s godinama biva sve više zastupljena. S ciljem smanjenja dubine džepa i obnove morfologije kosti primjenjuju se razne metode liječenja. Kako bi se postigla regeneracija kosti i tkiva primjenjuju se regenerativne tehnike u kombinaciji s odgovarajućim materijalima, s različitim učinkom na kost. Idealan materijal trebao bi imati svojstvo osteogeneze, osteoindukcije i osteokondukcije. Jedini materijal s tim karakteristikama jest autogena kost. Kako bi se smanjile nuspojave autogenih transplanata, istražuje se osteoindukcijski potencijal alogenih, ksenogenih te aloplastičnih materijala. Ti materijali nisu još u potpunosti istraženi te su potrebna daljnja klinička istraživanja radi dokazivanja njihova osteoindukcijskog potencijala.
Abstract (english)	Periodontitis is a disease of the supporting tissues of the teeth. Awareness of the treatment of periodontitis has become more prevalent over recent years. In order to reduce pocket depth and restore bone morphology, various treatment methods are used. In order to achieve bone and tissue regeneration, regenerative techniques are used in combination with appropriate materials, with different effects on bone. The ideal material should have the properties of osteogenesis, osteoinduction and osteconduction. The only material with these characteristics is autogenous bone. In order to reduce the side effects of autogenous transplants, the osteoinduction potential of allogeneic, xenogeneic and alloplastic materials has been investigated. These materials have not yet been fully investigated and further clinical research is needed to demonstrate their steoinductive potential.
