Abstract
U diplomskom radu biti će izvršena analiza postojećeg GIS modela s gledišta korištenja podataka u uređivanju šuma. Istraživanje je provedeno na području uprave šuma Osijek, u gospodarskoj jedinici "Kujnjak - Rakovac - Mačkovac". U radu su navedene prednosti ovakvog GIS modela u obradi, manipuliranju i korištenju podataka. Povezivanjem podataka dostupnih u HŠ fondu s postojećim prostornim podacima iz drugih baza u jednistveni GIS sustav omogućeno je jednostavnije nadopunjavanje podataka i njihovo trenutno korištenje pri radovima uzgajanja, uređivanja, zaštite i iskorištavanja šuma. Rezultati istraživanja će ukazati na značenje uspostavljanja jedinstvenog GIS modela za potrebe šumarstva u Hrvatskoj.
Abstract (english)
The thesis will be an analysis of existing GIS model from the viewpoint of using the data in forest management. The study was conducted at the district office in Osijek, in the economic unit "Kujnjak - Rakovac - Mačkovac". The thesis also presents the advantages of this GIS model of processing, manipulating and using data. Data connectivity available in HS fund with existing spatial data in a unified GIS system allows simple updating of data and their current use in breeding work, editing, utilization and protection of forests. The research results will indicate the importance establishing a unique GIS models for the forestry in Croatia.
