Abstract
Civilizacijskim napretkom širi se i primjena drva prvo kao oruđa, oružja, a zatim i u građevinarstvu, izradi namještaja i dekoracija, no čovjekova potreba za sigurnim i stalnim izvorom topline stavlja drvo u poziciju najprije ogrjevnog materijala. U radu je definirano ogrjevno drvo prema hrvatskim normama koje su preuzete iz JUS standarda, u kojima je ogrjevno drvo definirano kao bilo koji oblik drva namjenjen za proizvodnju topline. Ulaskom Republike Hrvatske u Europsku Uniju došlo je do promjene i prilagođavanja hrvatskih normi europskom standardu, u kojem je ogrjevno drvo svrstano u kategoriju čvrstih biogoriva. Nadalje, prikazano je nekoliko oblika tehnološkog procesa dobivanja ogrjevnog drva koji prate proces od „panja“ do konačnog proizvoda, te su prikazane i objašnjene tehnologije koje su primjenjene u tim procesima. Pozornost je usmjerena i na sigornost u radu zbog posla koji je često fiziĉki naporan, rada sa strojevima koji mogu uzrokovati teške ozljede. Na kraju su i spomenuti drugi oblici dobivanja toplinske energije koji kao ekološko-prihvatljivi, predstavljaju alternativu, ali ne i zamjenu ogrjevnom drvu.
Abstract (english)
Civilizational progress has spread and applied wood first as tools, weapons and then in construction , furniture making and decoration , but the man's need for safe and permanent heat source has placed wood in the position of first and foremost a fuel material . This paper defines fuel wood according to Croatian standards taken from JUS standards, where fuel wood is defined as any form of wood intended for the production of heat. By Croatian accession to the European Union there was a change and adjustment of Croatian standards to European standard, in which fuel wood is classified in the category of solid biofuels. Further shown several forms of technological processes of fuel wood production, that are following the process of production from the "stump" to the final product, and describe the technologies that are applied in these processes. Also attention has been paid to work safety which is often physically demanding,and requires work with machines that can cause serious injury. In the end are mentioned some other forms of obtaining heat energy that although ecologically-friendly, are an alternative, but not replace wood fuel.
