About resilience is spoken of since the 1950s, and about 1980s began to be more intensive to explore and talk about resilience. The concept of resilience is the function of a series of protective factors on a child after facing a risky situation. In addition to protective factors, on the child also acts risk factors, which strengthens of the protective factors became weak, and the child develops resilience. Resilience is important for a child after experiencing a risky situation, because of undeveloping some of the behavioral problems. It is important to constantly study and research the most effective ways of strengthening resilience so that the family and teachers can help the child to develop it. The basic aim of the paper was to contribute to there search and work on the concept of resistance to prevention of behavioral problems. By reviewing available literature in Research Gate, Science Direct, Online Library, Academia and similar sites on which scientists and researches publish their works and data bases like ERIC, Hrčak and Hrvatska znanstvena bibliografija, that allow a free literature review, the goal has been achieved in the time period from March, 2019, to June, 2019. Basics are searching for keywords, behavioral problems, risk and protective factors, resilience, and child resilience that point to content related to the topic being discussed. After a thorough search, it comes to the conclusion that resistance is the ability of an individual to undergo risky factors affecting him during and after having to deal with stressors doesn't develop any of the problems in behavior and grows into a responsible person who acts in accordance with the rules and norms of society .
