Abstract Predškolske ustanove danas nude razne dodatne programe koje djeca mogu pohađati. Jedan od takvih programa koji se nudi svoj djeci je vjerski odgoj. Ovaj se oblik programa može provoditi u bilo kojoj odgojno-obrazovnoj ustanovi, bila ona pod privatnim vlasništvom ili državna odgojno-obrazovna ustanova. Uvjet je da su roditelji zainteresirani za ovaj oblik programa te da odgojitelji koji ga provode prođu dodatnu edukaciju. Vjerski odgoj se temelji na više čimbenika: na psihologiji ljudskog razvoja, sakramentu krštenja, prisutnosti djece u božanskoj objavi, dostojanstvu djece u svjetlu riječi Božje te na odgovornosti roditelja i kršćanske zajednice koju su preuzeli na djetetovu krštenju. Kako bi se što kvalitetnije i što primjerenije odgovorilo na djetetove potrebe, nužno je sagledati svaki dio na kojem se vjerski odgoj temelji. Kada se sve sastavnice sagledaju i analiziraju, onda se može krenuti u kreiranje programa i njegovo provođenje u odgojno-obrazovnoj skupini. Naposljetku se program koji se proveo može i vrednovati te iz dobivenih rezultata odgojitelji mogu saznati što je bilo korisno za djecu te što su ona naučila. Vrednovanje programa je jednako važno kao i kreiranje programa jer se u konačnici, sve to čini kako bi djetetu omogućili što potpuniji rast i razvoj. Ovaj rad donosi promišljanje o specifičnostima programa vjerskog odgoja u predškolskim ustanovama. Pobliže se iznose glavna polazišta, ciljevi i zadaće vjerskog odgoja, njegov utjecaj na dječji rast, kompetentnost odgojitelja koji provode ovaj oblik programa, potrebni didaktički materijali za provođenje u odgojno-obrazovnoj skupini, način provođenja vjerskog odgoja, važnost obiteljske uloge u vjerskom odgoju djeteta te vrednovanje i financiranje programa.
Abstract (english) Preschool institutions offer today different additional programs that children can attend. One of those programs that offers to all children is religious education. This kind of program can be implemented in any kind of preschool institutions, whether it is a private or state preschool institution. The condition is that the parents are interested for this kind of program and that the educators who carry this program go through additonal education. Religious education is based on several factors: on the psychology of human development, the sacrament of baptism, the presence of children in divine revelation, the dignity of children in the light of the word of God, and the responsibility of the parents and the Christian community who have taken it over the child's baptism. In order to respond as much as possible to the needs of the child, it is necessary to look at every part on which religious education is based. When all the components are viewed and analyzed, then the program can be created and its implementation in the educational group can start. Finally, the program that has been implemented can be evaluated, and from the results obtained, the educators can find out what was useful to children and what they have learned. Evaluating the program is important just like creating a program, because ultimately it is all doing to enable the child the fullest possible growth and development. This paper gives a reflection on the specificities of religious education programs in preschool institutions. The main points of departure, goals and tasks of religious education, its influence on child growth, the competence of the educator implementing this form of program, the necessary didactic materials for implementation in the educational system, the way of carrying out religious education, the importance of the family role in the religious education of children and evaluation and funding of the program.
