Abstract
Osobe svakodnevno donose odluke različitog tipa. Sve te odluke oblikuju način i stil života osobe, kao i poslovanje poduzeća. Odlučivanje bi se moglo definirati kao izabiranje smjera odnosno načina djelovanja između više inačica. Odluke su u najužoj vezi s procesom odlučivanja te predstavlja rezultat tog procesa odlučivanja. Poslovno odlučivanje može se definirati kao izbor između dviju ili više inačica rješavanja problema u poslovnim situacijama. Jedno od najvažnijih sposobnosti koje se zahtjeva da menadžer poduzeća posjeduje je umijeće delegiranja. U prvom poglavlju su opisane karakteristike menadžerskog odlučivanja kroz glavne menadžerske funkcije i koje su ključne odluke u tim funkcijama. Navedeni su i obrađeni stilovi odlučivanja te kako pojedini stilovi utječu na zadovoljstvo zaposlenih i na funkcioniranje poduzeća. Nadalje, objašnjeno je kako se donose odluke u centraliziranim i decentraliziranim organizacijama te koje su organizacije prikladnije u današnje vrijeme globalizacije. U drugom poglavlju objašnjeno je delegiranje u procesu odlučivanja te sam proces delegiranja odlučivanja. U ovom poglavlju se analizira odgovornost menadžera i podređenih pri donošenju odluka te tko se smatra odgovornim za donesene odluke. Objašnjeni su načini i stupnjevi delegiranja odlučivanja te koje su koristi od delegiranja i određeni izazovi i problemi istog. Zadnje poglavlje bavi se konkretnim primjerom delegiranja odlučivanja u postojećem poduzeću. Primjer dokazuje kako je delegiranje odlučivanja dugotrajan i kompliciran proces iz razloga ukoliko se krivoj osobi delegira odlučivanje, cijela organizacija snosi određene posljedice.
Abstract (english)
People make different types of decisions on a daily basis. Not only do these decisions shape one’s lifestyle, they also highly affect the way a company functions. Decision making can be defined as choosing a certain path or way of acting when given more than one option. Choices are closely tied with the process of decision making which they are also result of. Business decision making can be defined as the choice between two or more options in regards to solving a problem in business situations. One of the most important skills a manager needs to have is in fact the ability to properly delegate. The first chapter explains the characteristics of managerial decision making through the main managerial functions and which decisions are key to each function. The different types of decision making are also mentioned in this chapter as well as the way they affect the level of employee satisfaction and the general way a company functions. The second part of this paper explains delegation in the process of decision making along with the process itself. Managerial responsibility and the responsibility of ordered employees as well as whom is held responsible for a certain decision is also explained in this chapter. This chapter also covers the types and levels of delegation of decision making and their possible uses and difficulties. The last chapter deals with a specific example of delegation of a decision in a company. The example shows that the delegation of a decision is a long and complex process because of it’s dependance on the right decision maker.
