Abstract	Ovim završnim radom analiziraju se razlike u igrama različitih kultura. U teorijskom dijelu završnog rada govori se o tome što je igra, njena funkcija i vrste igara. Zatim se govori o razlikama u igrama različitih kultura, upoređuju se igre Slavonije i Novog Zelanda. Uspoređuju se tradicionalne i suvremene igare te su opisivane istarske igre i igre primorskog kraja. U metodološkom dijelu završnog rada provedeno je istraživanje u vidu intervjua. Intervju je proveden kroz deset pitanja o tradicionalnim igrama i njihovoj uporabi u odgojno-obrazovnom radu. Ispitane su četiri odgojiteljice. Kroz istraživanje možemo vidjeti raznovrsnost igri i igračaka te kako djeca danas prihvaćaju tradicionalne igre.
Abstract (english)	This thesis seeks to analyze differences in games from different cultures. Theoretical part of this thesis defines what is game, purpose of games and types of games. Also in this part games from Slavonija (Croatia) and New Zealand are compared with focus on cultural difference. Characteristics of traditional and modern games are compared also games from Istria region and Primorje region are described. In methodological part of this thesis research has been conducted in form of interviews. Interviews contained ten questions about traditional games and their use in education. Four educators were interviewed. Through this research we can see diversity in games and toys and also how children today accept traditional games.
