Abstract Cilj ovog diplomskog rada jest utvrditi na koji način dolazi do poticanja i razvijanja kreativnosti kod djece predškolske dobi. U tu svrhu provedeno je kvalitativno istraživanja s odgojiteljima ranog i predškolskog odgoja i obrazovanja, a kao metoda prikupljanja rezultata istraživanja korišten je polustrukturirani intervju. Nakon obrade podataka došlo se do rezultata da svako dijete ima kreativni potencijal, no taj potencijal se jako brzo gasi ako ga se ne njeguje i potiče. Stoga je nužno poticati dječju kreativnost od najranije dobi, osobito u dječjim vrtićima Nadalje može se istaknuti da kreativna aktivnost djeteta ovisi i o samom okruženju i društvenoj uvjetovanosti. Odnosi između odgojitelja i djece, organiziranost vremena i prostora te dostupni materijali važni su čimbenici u razvoju kreativnosti. Postoje djeca koja imaju izrazitu kreativnost i to ih potiče na stvaranje situacija s visokim stupnjem originalnosti i prije svega nepredvidivost. Da bi razumjeli dijete, odrasla osoba mora naučiti razumjeti svijet djeteta, njegova pravila, govoriti njegov jezik, pronaći najbolji način koji će doprinijeti razvoju njegove kreativnosti i maštovitosti. Da bi dijete bilo kreativno ono mora biti otvoreno za nova iskustva, ne može biti stereotipno i savršeno, mora biti konstruktivno, slobodno i sigurno. Upravo u igri, sastavnom dijelu kreativnosti, dijete je slobodno i stvara svoj maštoviti svijet.
Abstract (english) The aim of this graduate thesis was to find out how it stimulates and develops creativity in pre-school children. For that, purpose the qualitative research was conducted on the pre-school educators, and for the research method was used the interview. After processing the data, the results showed that every child has a creative potential, but that potential is very quickly extinguished if it is not nurtured and encouraged. Therefore, it is necessary to encourage children's creativity from an early age, especially in kindergartens. Furthermore, it can be noted that the creative activity of the child depends on the environment and its social condition. Relationships between educators and children, organization of time, space and available materials are important factors in the development of creativity. There are children who have a strong creativity and this encourages them to create situations with a high degree of originality and, above all, unpredictability. To understand a child, an adult must learn to understand the world of the child, his rules, speak his language, and find the best way to contribute to the development of his creativity and imagination. To be creative it is important that child is open to new experiences, not to be stereotyped and perfect, it must be constructive, free and safe. In the game, which is an integral part of creativity, a child is free and creates his own imaginative world.
