Abstract
In dieser Bachelorarbeit wurde eine Analyse von deutschen und kroatischen Auto- und Heterostereotypen präsentiert. The Analyse beruht auf einer online Erhebung, in der die Befragten aus Deutschland und Kroatien unter 140 Eigenschaften auswählten, von denen sie glaubten, dass sie mit den beiden Kulturen verbunden sind. Die TeilnehmerInnen wurden auch gebeten ihre Wahl zu begründen und einen kurzen Kommentar zu geben, jedoch nur für die wichtigsten von ihnen gewählten Merkmalen. Die Analyse der Daten gibt einen Einblick in die Art und Weise, wie sich Kroaten und Deutschen selbst und gegenseitig wahrnehmen und ob diese Wahrnehmung positiv oder negativ ist.
Abstract (croatian)
U ovom završnom radu predstavljena je analiza njemačkih i hrvatskih autostereotipova i heterostereotipova. Finalna analiza temelji se na online upitniku u kojem su ispitanici iz Njemačke i Hrvatske morali birati između 140 karakteristika koje su povezivali s te dvije kulture. Od ispitanika se također tražilo da objasne svoj odabir i daju kratki komentar, ali samo za najbitnije karakteristike koje su odabrali. Analiza podataka daje uvid u to kako Hrvati i Nijemci vide sebe i jedni druge međusobno i je li ta percepcija pozitivna ii negativna.
Abstract (english)
In this bachelor thesis an analysis of Croatian and German auto- and heterostereotypes is be presented. The final analysis of the stereotypes is based on an online questionnaire in which Participants from Germany and Croatia had to choose from 140 characteristics for which they believed were connected to the two cultures. participants were also asked to explain their choice and give a brief comment, but only for the most important characteristics that they had chosen. The analysis of the data gives an insight to the way Croatians and Germans perceive themselves and each other and if the perceptions are positive or negative.
