Abstract
U ovom preglednom diplomskom radu opisani su porijeklo peradi te ponašanje pilića u tovu s ciljem boljeg razumijevanja načina držanja te tehnologijom predviđenih ambijentalnih uvjeta. Zbog velikog broja životinja te kratkoće tova posebno su istaknute promjene u ponašanju te problemi koji nastaju, kao i posebna pozornost koja se posvećuje provođenju mjera biosigurnosti. Osobita pozornost posvećena je pojavi stresa te njegovom utjecaju na proizvodnost i dobrobit pilića. Iz navedenoga se zaključuje da zbog specifičnosti držanja velikog broja peradi smještene na relativno malom prostoru, u intenzivnoj peradarskoj proizvodnji, postoji realna mogućnost pojave stresa i bolesti. Stoga se u praksi primjenjuju higijenski standardi koji obuhvaćaju stvaranje mikroklimatskih ambijentalnih uvjeta prikladnih kategoriji životinja, nadzor zdravstvenog stanja, preventivne mjere te higijensko sanitarne postupke.
Abstract (english)
This review thesis describes the origin of poultry and behavior of broilers to further understanding of housing system and technology anticipated environmental conditions. Due to the large number of animals and the shortness of fattening there are highlighted changes in behavior and the problems that arise, and special attention is being given to the implementation of Biosecurity measures. Particular attention was paid to the occurrence of stress and its impact on the productivity and welfare of chickens. From the above mentioned, it is concluded that due to the specifics of housing a large number of birds placed in a relatively small area, in intensive poultry production, there is a real potential for stress and disease appearance. Therefore, in practice are applied hygiene standards which include the creation of microclimate environmental conditions appropriate to category of animals, control of health, preventive measures and hygienic sanitation procedures.
