Abstract
Dokazano je da je infekcija konjskim herpesvirusom ( EHV) proširena u cijelom svijetu , te da tamo gdje se pojavljuje uzrokuje ekonomske gubitke . Tome uvelike doprinose nesigurni klinicki simptomi , cesto i bez ikakvih klinickih znakova, latencija i reaktivacija samog virusa te skupe metode dijagnosticiranja. Rad je temeljen na konjskom herpes virusu 1 (EHV-1), te konjskom herpes virusu 4 (EHV-4) zbog najcešceg ispoljavanja klinickih simptoma, te same bolesti uzrokovane ovim tipovima virusa. U ovom radu iznesen je kratki prikaz etiologije, epizootiologije, simptomatologije, dijagnosticiranja, terapije , te mjera prevencije širenja konjskog herpesvirusa.
Abstract (english)
It is shown that the infection of the equine herpes virus (EHV)is found in most horses around the world, and that its prevalence causes economic losses. It causes unidentifiable medical symptoms, often without clinical signs, latency and reactivation of the virus itself resulting in expensive methods of diagnosis.This paper is based on the horse herpes virus 1 (EHV-1), and horse herpes virus 4 (EHV-4) due to the frequency of the manifestation of clinical symptoms and the disease caused by these types of viruses. This paper contains a brief overview of the etiology, epizootiology, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and prevention measures for the spread of the equine herpes virus.
