Abstract	U ovome radu autorica je pisala o osnovnim pojmovima međunarodnog prava, međunarodnim organizacijama te njihovim ulogama u međunarodnom razvoju sigurnosti i zaštite na radu. Također u radu je objašnjen pojam Europske unije te njen razvoj sigurnosti i zaštite na radu te je opisana Okvirna Direktiva 89/391/EEZ kao i njena primjena u pravno zakonodavstvo Republike Hrvatske odnosno u Zakon o zaštiti na radu, kao i pojedini problemi koji proizlaze iz usklađenosti te Direktive i Zakona o zaštiti na radu.
