Abstract
U ovome radu obrađuje se tema funkcije strateškog menadžmenta u Hotelu Osijek. Menadžment predstavlja sposobnost usmjeravanja poslova djelatnika poduzeća radi ostvarivanja ciljeva organizacije, dok je strateški menadžment dio menadžmenta koji se bazira na dugoročnim ciljevima i planovima. Strateško upravljanje je temelj uspjeha u poslovanju 21. stoljeća. Menadžment poduzeća strategijom upućuje sve sudionike poslovnog subjekta na to koji su ciljevi, na koji način će ispuniti svoju misiju te ostvariti planirane ciljeve. U neposrednoj suradnji s vlasnikom ili vlasnicima poduzeća, menadžment definira strategiju na temelju realne, odnosno trenutne situacije. Bitno je naglasiti kako bi svaki poslovni subjekt trebao oblikovati strategiju koja je odgovarajuća u njegovoj situaciji i koja se razlikuje od strategija konkurencije, dok se u poslovanju treba voditi postavljenim strateškim izborima. Temeljne aktivnosti u procesu strateškog menadžmenta najčešće su definiranje, implementiranje, te preispitivanje vizije i misije poslovanja, definiranje i realizacija strateških financijskih i nefinancijskih ciljeva poduzeća, raspodjela resursa, upravljanje poduzećem, kontrola, praćenje i valoriziranje rezultata, te konstantno unošenje prilagodbi u dijelove strategije. Cilj je ovog rada dati sustavni pregled i kritički vrednovati temeljne strategije i ulogu menadžmenta u njihovoj realizaciji. U istraživačkom dijelu ovog rada korištena je metoda analize poslovnog slučaja u poduzeću Hotel Osijek d.o.o., te metoda intervjua s ključnom osobom iz Hotela.
Abstract (english)
The following paper discusses the functions of strategic management in Hotel Osijek. Management stands for the manager's ability to direct the work of employees to achieve the goals of the organisation, while strategic management is a part of management based on long-term goals and plans. Strategic management is the foundation for success in the 21st century. Managing an organisation with its strategy directs and reminds all employees of their goals and how they will fulfil the organisation's plans, plans, mission and vision. In close cooperation with the owner of the company, the management sets its strategy based on the real situation. It is important to say that every company should develop a strategy that suits its situation and is different from the strategy of its competitors. The basic activities in the process of strategic management are mainly the definition, implementation and questioning of the mission and vision of the organisation, the definition and implementation of strategic, financial and non-financial goals, the allocation of resources, management with the organisation, control, fulfilment and evaluation of results and constant adjustment of parts of the strategy. The aim of this paper is to provide a systematic overview of the basic strategies and the role of management in their implementation and critically evaluate them. In the research part of this paper, the method of business case analysis in the company Hotel Osijek was used, as well as the method of interviewing the key stakeholder from the Hotel.
