The subject of this final paper is “Proposal of a Development Strategy for a Selected Company.” To achieve a competitive advantage, it is imperative to advance and adapt to the dynamic and unpredictable market changes, considering contemporary trends and challenges. Due to this, strategic planning becomes essential for the success and longevity of a business. This work showcases the importance of a well-defined development strategy when it comes to the growth on the example of the family business “Tomotrans”; a specialized transportation service company currently facing uncertainty regarding plans for its future. Thus, the goal of this paper is to contribute to implementing an effective strategy that would enable the business to use its strengths and opportunities in the market. After conducting an analysis and thorough interviews with the business representatives, various development strategies, such as concentration, expansion, and diversification of products, have been proposed to the business. While further analyses are required before selecting the development trajectory, it is posited that the company can achieve substantial growth and long-term sustainability by adopting and implementing the suggested strategies.
