Abstract
Kronična opstruktivna plućna bolest je progresivna, upalna bolest karakterizirana ireverzibilnom bronhoopstrukcijom koja je uzrokovana kroničnom upalom dišnih puteva. Jedan je od vodećih uzroka mortaliteta u svijetu, točnije, četvrti je uzročnik smrti. Prema prognozama bolest će biti u daljnjem porastu. Problematika bolesti je i u tome što se kasno dijagnosticira od strane liječnika. Razlog tome je što su se početnim znakovima oboljeli postupno adaptirali. To su dispneja (otežano disanje), kašalj, pojačana sekrecija. Cilj ovog rada je opisati bolest, te ulogu i značaj fizioterapijske intervencije na tijek i liječenje bolesti. Fizioterapijski postupci su od velike pomoći, obzirom da je riječ o bolesti koja uvelike otežava život čovjeka. Fizikalnom terapijom i redovitim radom i vježbanjem mogu se smanjiti poteškoće s kojima se svakodnevno moraju nositi oboljele osobe.
Abstract (english)
Chronic obstructive disease is a progressive, inflammatory disease characterized by irreversible bronchoconstriction which is affected by the chronic inflammation of the respiratory tract. It is one of leading causes of mortality in the world, more precisely, is the fourth cause of death. According to forecasts, the disease will be further increased. The problem with this disease is that it is being diagnosed late by the doctors. The reason for that is because patients gradually adapt to the initial signs. These are dyspnoea (difficulty breathing), cough, increased secretion. The purpose of this thesis is to describe the disease, role and significance of physiotherapy interventions on the course and treatment of the disease. Physiotherapeutic procedures are of great help because this is a disease which greatly impedes the life. Physical therapy and regular work and exercise can help to reduce the difficulties that people in everyday life have to deal with.
