Abstract
U ovome radu će se govoriti općenito o globalizaciji, njenoj definiciji,nastanku i dimenzijama. Osvrnut će se i na položaj proizvođača i kupca kao i njihov odnos. Daljnja tema je tekstilna i odjevna industrija u Europskoj uniji koja je tokom godina doživjela brojne promjene zbog novih zakona kao i promjena u kretanju tržišta. Glavni konkurenti Europske unije su zemlje koje mogu po nižim cijenama ponuditi tekstilne i odjevne proizvode čak i one luksuzne. Budućnost industrije leži u novim inovacijama kao i snižavanjima troškova proizvodnje. Hrvatska tekstilna i odjevna industrija bilježi brojne probleme zbog sve većih troškova proizvodnje kao i smanjenja izvoza. Također profitabilnost postojeće proizvodnje i sve manji broj zaposlenih u tim sektorima u Hrvatskoj usporava razvoj.
Abstract (english)
In this work we will be talking in general about globalization, it`s definitions, origins and size. Talk about the situation of the manufacturer and the customer as well as their relationship. Next issue is textile and clothing industry in the European union, which over the years has undergone many changes due to new legislation and changes in the movement of the market. The main competitors of the European union countries that can offer at lower prices of textile and clothing products, even luxury ones. The future of the industry lies in new innovations as well as reduced production costs. Croatian textile and clothing industry recorded a number of problems due to increasing production costs and the decrease in exports. Also the profitability of existing production and decreasing the number of employees in these sectors in Croatia slows development.
