Abstract
Današnji ubrzani tempo života, obilježen neodgovornim odnosom prema okolišu i ljudima s težnjom za prekomjernim bogatstvom, doveo je čovječanstvo u situaciju u kojoj se preispituje kvaliteta života i samo preživljavanje ljudi i prirode. Tako se razvila društvena odgovornost i svijest umjerenog korištenja prirodnih resursa i poštivanja etičkih načela. Društveno odgovorno poslovanje poduzeća je način u kojem poduzeće brine o društvu i okolišu ali u skladu s ekonomijom poslovanja. Briga o zajednici i okolišu postaje sve zastupljenija, a poslovni subjekti posvećuju sve više pažnje ovom segmentu kroz svakodnevno poslovanje. Predmet rada obuhvaća samo značenje društvene odgovornosti te uspješnost poduzeća koja posluju na takav način. Društveno odgovorno poslovanje promatrat će se kroz diskrecijsku, etičku, zakonsku i ekonomsku odgovornost. Cilj rada je, na osnovi raspoložive literature i izvora, pozicionirati poduzeća i društvenu odgovornost kao svakodnevne funkcije poslovanja. Također, cilj je pokazati uspjehe poduzeća koja posluju društveno odgovorno te da one budu uzori poduzećima koja još nisu usvojila praksu odgovornog poslovanja. Rad se temelji na prikupljanju i analizi sekundarnih izvora podataka, dostupnih u stručnoj literaturi. Kod izrade rada korištena je deskriptivna metoda – opisivanje činjenica i predmeta, te metoda analize u teoretskom dijelu rada. U ovom je radu analizirano društveno odgovorno poslovanje triju poduzeća, Atlantic Grupa, Holcim Hrvatska, te PLIVA. Opisano je njihovo poslovanje kao dobar primjer društveno odgovornog poslovanja prema etičkim i društvenim načelima. S obzirom na uspješan način kojim poduzeća posluju, dobitnici su mnogih nagrada i priznanja te su primjer „Bolje Hrvatske“.
Abstract (english)
Nowadays people lead fast paced lifestyles which are marked by irresponsibility towards the environment as well as other people mostly because of the tendency of individuals to get excessively rich. This has put humanity in a situation which leads to reexamining the quality of life as well as the mere survival of human race and nature. This has lead to social responsibility of applying ethical principles of using natural resources in moderation. Corporate social responsibility of a company is a way in which a company takes care of the community and the environment taking into account the business economy. Taking care of the community and the environment is getting more and more frequent and business subjects focus on this aspect on a daily basis. The topic of this paper comprises the bare definition of social responsibility and the success of companies which take social responsibility into account in their business. Corporate social responsibility will be examined through discretion, ethics, law and economical responsibility. The purpose of the paper is to, based on the available literature and sources, position companies and social responsibility as functions of everyday business. In the process of writing, descriptive method was used – describing facts and subjects. Also, in the theoretical part of the paper, analysis was used. Conducts of the following companies were used in the paper: Atlantic Group, Holcim Croatia and PLIVA. Their business conduct was described as a good example of corporate social responsibility taking into account social and ethical principles. Since these are successful companies, they are recipients of many awards and accolades and they are an example of “A Better Croatia“.
