Abstract
Ovaj završni rad pisan je s intencijom da istraži teorijske okvire strategije razvoja turističke destinacije i njezinu ulogu u održivom razvoju turističke destinacije. Turizam je dinamička kategorija koja se nalazi u neprestanom razvoju i progresiji. Temeljni elementi turističkog proizvoda destinacije su atraktivnost, pristupačnost i uvjeti za boravak. Turistički proizvodi (destinacije) međusobno se bore na turističkom tržištu da bi pridobili turiste odnosno da bi ih uvjerili u mogućnost optimalnog zadovoljenja njihovih potreba. U tom kontekstu, upravo strategija razvoja turističke destinacije ima posebnu ulogu. Uloga menadžmenta turističke destinacije je pronaći moduse upravljanja destinacijom kako bi se osigurao održiv razvoj turističke destinacije. Namjera autora ovog rada bila je teorijske spoznaje o strategiji razvoja turističke destinacije testirati na primjeru razvojne strategije turističke destinacije otoka Hvara.
Abstract (english)
This final paper was written with the intention of exploring the theoretical frameworks of the tourism development strategy and its role in the sustainable development of the tourist destination. Tourism is a dynamic category that is in constant development and progression. The basic elements of a tourist product of destination are the attractiveness, accessibility and living conditions. Tourism products (destinations) are struggling in the tourist market to accommodate tourists, or to convince them of the possibility of optimizing their needs. In this context, the tourism development strategy itself has a special role. The role of tourism destination management is to find ways of managing the destination to ensure sustainable tourism development. The intention of the author of this paper was to test theoretical knowledge on tourism development strategy by examining the development strategy of tourist destination of the island of Hvar.
