Abstract	Provedenim se istraživanjem htjelo ispitati koliko mladi idu u kazalište i koliko su upoznati s repertoarom, koje je kazalište najpopularnije, koji žanr preferiraju te kako se mladi informiraju o kazalištu. Istraživanje je provedeno pomoću tiskane ankete koju je ispunilo 124 srednjoškolki i srednjoškolaca raznih gimnazija i strukovnih srednjih škola u Zagrebu. Analiza prikupljenih rezultata potvrdila je tri od pet unaprijed definiranih hipoteza, pa se tako pokazalo da je komedija najpopularniji žanr, da mladi preferiraju kino ispred kazališta i da većina srednjoškolaca posjećuje kazalište samo sa školom. Dobiveni rezultati istraživanja još su jednom potvrdili kako mladi ne idu dovoljno u kazalište, ali kada idu da im se predstave sviđaju.
Abstract (english)	The study wanted to examine how much do young people go to the theater and how much are they familiar with the repertoire, which is the most popular theater, the favourite genre and the informed about the theater. The study was conducted using printed survey which was completed by 124 high school students of various high school in Zagreb. Analysis of the results confirmed three of the five pre-defined hypothesis, but also showed that the most popular genre is comedy, that young people prefer the cinema before theater and that most high school students is visiting the theater only with the school. Research have once again confirmed that young people do not go enough to the theater, but when they do, they are satisfied and they liked the show.
