Infectology is one of the medical branches and includes knowledge and skills about the causes of various diseases, diagnostics, ways to prevent infectious diseases, the clinical incidence of infectious diseases and the treatment of these same diseases. The final work with the topic Knowledge of nursing students about children's infectious diseases was made at the Faculty of Health Studies as part of the course "Child Health Care". The aim of the study was to investigate how much knowledge nursing students have about childhood infectious diseases. 87 respondents participated in the survey, and data were collected through an online survey questionnaire. The thematic work is divided into two parts. The first part of the work deals with general data on six childhood infectious rash diseases. Each disease is briefly described, what are the causes, what is the clinical picture, what are the possible complications and the method of treatment. The second part of the work refers to the conducted research, students were sent a survey consisting of twenty-one questions. After data processing, the results were expected, first-year students had slightly lower results than second- and third-year students. The average of correct answers to one question of students in the first year was 61.33%, in the second year the result was 75.48% of correct answers to the question, while in the third year an average of 74.71% of students answered the question correctly. The results were expected and looking at gender, female students were more successful than male students and an average of 72.09% of female students would answer the question correctly, while an average of 58.58% of male students would know the answer.
