The aim of this thesis is to investigate the influence of transhumanism on fashion design and its approach to shaping the human body and body as a concept of contemporary fashion. The thesis dealing with the relationship between transhumanism and fashion design requires a theoretical analysis of the contemporary paradigm of philosophy, art and science, which already greatly changes not only the definitions of man and nature, but above all the understanding of design as a whole. The research needed to define the concept of transhumanism and its connection with biotechnology, posthumanism, and the progress of 3D scanning and modeling in general, which suggests the possibility of a human body that is adaptable and open source. The thesis will discuss a number of theoretical approaches to cybernetic understanding of the world, changing the relationship between the body and the social environment, to show how fashion design in the 21st century is becoming an experiment in creating new hybrid body structures, which has important consequences for today's creative economies and information societies. Fashion designers who put into action transhumanist ideas like Chalayan and others show that between science, art, and technology, the question of the existence of the human body is established by the leading question of our time. From such a transhumanist scenario, new standards of beauty will be created in which mutational creations would colonize our current traditional sense of reality.
