This final paper shows the unquestionable links between tourism, tourist culture andpedagogy. No matter how many sorts and forms of tourism there are, a common feature to allis the expectation of recruiting new cognitions, experiences and impressions from everytravel. A great number of individuals do not know how to travel and how to substantially usetheir free time, therefore, tourist culture must be cherished with kids and adults so they cancome back home enriched by new information that will contribute to their education. Whiletraveling, one does not only learn about different cultures and traditions, one learns about theentire society in a foreign environment, gets new visions on the world, while developingindependence, versatility and creativity one learns about oneself. As new skills are bestacquired at a younger age, a re-introduction of Tourist culture as an optional curriculumshould be reconsidered. Tourist Culture, together with out of curriculum activities selectedwithin the pilot-project of Tourist Culture, has contributed to a better understanding of interrelationsof tourism and culture and to an apprehension of their relevance for Croatia. Peopleshould therefore be educated on how to travel, on how to value the cultural heritage in theirown local environment, and taught on the importance of traveling and broadening of one'shorizons as traveling certainly educates them in return.
