Abstract

Parallel abstract (English)
This thesis focuses on defining enclosed landscapes and their values, and at the same time on identification and description of the main types of enclosed landscapes in coastal Croatia as a contribution for their further research and protection. This is accomplished through the study of scientific literature and analysis of cartographic and photographic sources. In order to make the identification and systematization clearer, enclosed landscapes in coastal Croatia are divided into basic types and subtypes, and coastal Croatia into 16 regions. By comparing the two, we have been given the data about which parts of coastal Croatia has the most drystone walls, and the connection between area size of enclosed landscapes and the use of the same space.
