Abstract
Inbriding, odnosno parenje jedinki u srodstvu se mjeri koeficijentom inbridinga, F. Do vrijednosti koeficijenta inbridinga se može doći na više načina, jedan od kojih je procjena inbridinga pomoću određivanja homozigotnih odsječaka (ROH). Genomski koeficijent inbridinga se obično odnosi na autosome, dok se inbriding na X kromosomu zanemaruje. U ovom radu su određeni ROH-ovi >4 Mb, >8 Mb i >16 Mb kod jedinki populacije Soay ovaca genotipiziranih Ovine 50K SNP čipom te su određene vrijednosti koeficijenata inbridinga za autosome i X kromosom. Za autosome su određene vrijednosti ukupno za sve kromosome te posebno za svaki kromosom. Inbriding na X kromosomu je ~4 do 15 puta veći nego na autosomima, a vrijednosti za autosomalni i X inbriding uvelike razlikuju kod pojedinih jedinki te je korelacija između vrijednosti niska. X inbriding može biti važan kod vrsta kojima veći dio genoma čini X kromosom te kod kojih su neka važna svojstva djelomično određena genima na X kromosomu te stoga ne smije biti zanemarivan.

Inbreeding or mating of related individuals is measured by the coefficient of inbreeding, F. There are more ways to calculate the coefficient of inbreeding, one of which is estimating inbreeding with use of homozygous runs (ROHs). Genomic inbreeding coefficient is usually based on the autosomal chromosomes, while the inbreeding on the X chromosome is neglected. In this thesis, ROHs>4 Mb, >8 Mb and >16 Mb are detected in individuals from Soay sheep population genotyped with Ovine 50K SNP chip and coefficients of inbreeding are determined for autosomal chromosomes and X chromosome. In addition, coefficients of inbreeding are determined for every autosomal chromosome, separately. Detected inbreeding on X chromosome is ~4 to 15 times higher than on the autosomal chromosomes, and values for autosomal and X-chromosomal inbreeding differ a lot in individuals and the correlation between two values is low. X inbreeding can be important in species that have most of their genome located on the X chromosome and those who have some important traits partially determined by genes on X chromosome and therefore must not be neglected.
